Super tent - great price
This is my first aluminum tent frame. I couldn't wait and put the tent together so I found an unused office at work and set it up in there. The tent comes with no instructions. after a less than 10 minutes of trial and error I was able to set it up. Tip: set up the poles that go through the sleeves first. Those poles go in the holes at the end of the seam that extends from the sleeve. It looks wierd, but do it anyway. The third pole becomes obvious where it goes. The aluminum poles are very nice, shockcorded and assemble easily. The three poles are all the same length and are interchangeable. Once the poles are in place, the tent is free standing, but the tub floor of the tent appears to be a bit tweaked. Perhaps staking the tent to the ground will help it lay out better. The stakes that come with it are pretty lame and will go straight to the recycling bin.

I am 6'1 200 pounds. This is the first tent I have been in that felt roomy. I can lay down lengthwise...

Quirky, but decent.
Just used this tent on a 14 day camping trip at campsites around Yakima, WA. The climate was dry and between 80 and 100 degrees, mostly wooded areas.

Pros:
- Aluminum poles. Wow, this was my first time with poles of this kind, they are LIGHT, and they're orange! They "snapped" together on their own when unfolding. I was afraid that they were going to break because of how light they were, but it never happened. This 3 pole design is interesting, and works well.
- Rainfly. another wow. This rainfly rocks. We had a real downpour on the third day, this rainfly was solid, no leaks or instability with it. The rainfly also adds 2 small vestibules which are very useful for leaving shoes and some other things outside the 2 doors and keeping them dry. The rainfly connects to 4 of the tent stake areas with plastic clasps, as well as velcro loops to the tent poles. There are another 4 points to stake for the 2 vestibule areas. You also have the option of using 4 guylines! I...

Satisfied
Just used this tent for the first time over the weekend. The rainfly definitely kept the dew out, and after struggling to figure how to set it up the first time in my front yard, I had an easy time of it the second time around. The tent with rainfly on doesn't get very good airflow, I wish the doors were the type that could unzip to just a vent, as they are you have to open them completely in order to get very good airflow. All in all, it gets the job done. Like others have said, the stakes are really flimsy, I bent two just on the first use.
