We love our kelty
Okay so we love our new tent. Awesome for the heat with good air curculation and amazing views with a door at both sides. The only issue is the directions kind of suck. The tent was super easy to set up, but the rain fly not so much. If the directions would actually explain how to set up the rain fly it would probably be easy, but with really no directions trial and error can take a bit of time to figure it out. We bought the tent because of only good reviews on other sights and for size. We fit a queen size air mattress and two pack n plays with space to spare.

Really happy with this tent!
After researching more than fifty different tents and almost as many brands, I found the Kelty Acadia 6-person tent was the best tent for me and for my budget. I first set up in the backyard, and for never having set up a tent before, my wife and I had it up in no more than twenty minutes. The biggest challenge was how to insert the aluminum pole in the top of the fly. The directions that came with the tent was for the 4 man tent which doesn't use the aluminum support pole. Otherwise the fiberglass poles work great, and the fly went on easily. I then took the tent camping a couple of weeks later. This time it was even quicker to set up. This tent is very roomy. We had a queen size air mattress inside, plus camp chairs and small table and still had room to move about. Good head room even for me (I'm 6' 3") Temperatures over night were in the 40's, but we slept comfortably. I did notice some condensation on the walls the next morning, but nothing significant. The doors at...

Easy to setup/take down
I recently had the chance to use this tent, and it was in early March (so, it was fairly cold out, yes)--I did use a heater inside the tent. There are a number of things I do enjoy about this tent.
1. Setup was fairly simple, even without using directions--I like to setup a tent without looking at directions first, just to see how easy it is. The only confusing part was how the pole for the rain fly attached. I had to look at the directions to see how this was done, but it would have been fairly straight forward if it wasn't so dark out. Tip: Insert the pole for the rain fly prior to placing the rain fly over the dome...otherwise you'll never get it on.
2. When staking out the tent--and rain fly--don't make everything overly-taught. This causes undue strain on zippers, and will cause them to split prematurely (the material for the zippers are fairly cheap, but they work if you don't put too much tension on them).
3. The "porch" feature was awesome! Even though it...
